A Chuang Tz Convention Will Be Held in TKU on April 9

The philosophy of Chuang Tz is often regarded not just as part of classical Chinese literature in Tamkang U., but also a world treasure. For this reason, Department of Chinese, TKU, will hold a Chuang Tz Convention in the International Conference Room, Ching Sheng Memorial Hall, inviting Chuang Tz scholars from within and without TKU to attend and give papers.

3 World-Renowned Scholars from China and Canada Will Visit TKU for a Short Period of Time

The Chinese Department will invite two world-renowned professors to be visiting professors for a short period of time: one from Canada’s Victoria University whose name is Daniel Joseph Bryant; the other one whose name is Zang Pei-heng, teaches at Fu Dan University, Shanghai, China. A third one, Prof. Tsao Shun-ching, will spend a short time doing research at TKU.

Two Student Clubs Received National Recognition by Ministry of Education

A nation-wide Student Association/Club Role Model Selection sponsored by Ministry of Education has chosen once again, as it did 2 years ago, TKU Chinese Music Club to be the recipient of Meritorious Performance Award. Meanwhile, the same honor has been given to TKU Chiayi Alumni/ae Club. Both clubs received the much-coveted awards at the Providence University (Ching Yi) on April 28 (last Sunday).

In order to meet the cross-century management challenge, College of Management, TKU, has invited 10 distinguished managers to give lectures on how they succeeded in their careers.
