INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DEVELOPMENT OF MICRO-ORGANIC FUNCTION ON FRIDAY

The Life Science Development Center and Graduate Institute of Life Sciences (College of Sciences) will hold the “2005’s International Conference on the Development of Micro-organic Function” this Friday (Nov. 25). The conference takes place at the Chung-ling Chemistry Hall (Q409) in the morning, and at the Ching-sheng Building T701 in the afternoon, with six lectures to be presented; posters and papers related to the conference will be exhibited at the Chung-ling Chemistry Hall C103 on Nov. 26.

According to Wang San-lang (Director of Life Science Development Center), it is Tamkang’s honor to invite four doctors from the Tokyo University, Japan, to have lectures on micro-organic enzyme and the applications of micro-organisms in environmental purification and biological transformation: lecturers including Dr. Motoo Akira (Chubu University), Akira Hirota (Nagoya University), Kenji Aoki (Kobe University), Nakano Yoshihisa (Osaka University).

On the same day, the Development Center of Life Science will publish its recent researches in the development and application of micro-organic enzyme, and the former head of Division of Technology of National Science Committee in Japan, Prof. Chang Kung-Hsiung, is also invited to talk on his experiences of promoting the scientific exchange between Taiwan and Japan.
