Royal e-Pen International Corp will donate 60 sets of DailyChinese software to the Tamkang University on March 3 at a ceremony to be held in TKU Taipei Campus. A lottery draw will be held simultaneously at the ceremony to give away three sets of the Chinese-learning software to the participants.
The software is the fruitful result of the cooperation between TKU and the Royal e-Pen International Corp. The Chinese-learning software will be used as teaching materials for the summer courses provided by Chinese Language Center, TKU.
The software contains lessons on Chinese language, creating situation learning environment on writing, listening and reading. One can even practice calligraphy without the messiness of traditional brushes and ink with the computerized calligraphy writing system in the software by watching the demonstration stroke by stroke. Chou Hsiang-hua, Director of the TKU Chinese Language Center said that the software is a major help for both foreign students and overseas Chinese to learn the beauty of the language. Each of the computer in the center’s will be installed with the software for students to use, Chou noted, adding that the university is planning to install this software to each computers in TKU Tamsui campus for the convenience of foreign students in the future.
