1. 他當時朝著我們走過來，臉上帶著微笑。

He walked toward us, wore a smile.

2. 他很耐心地說著，想要解釋清楚。

He speaks patiently, tries to explain it.

3. 在台灣住了兩年之後，他的國語說的很流利。

Lived in Taiwan for two years, he speaks fluent mandarin.

4. 她不懂我在幹嘛，所以她看起來很迷惑。

Doesn't know(1) what am I doing(2), she looks baffled.

5. 她不會唱歌，所以她不肯開口。

Cannot sing, she won't open her mouth.

6. 我看不到黑板，所以站起來。

Am unable to see the blackboard, I stood up.

7. 他喝了三杯咖啡，所以手發抖。

Drank three cups of coffee, his hands are shaking.

8. 我又打破一個杯子了，他很不高興。

Broke another glass, he is not happy.

9. 我們已經等了一天了，覺得又累又餓。

(1)Have waited for the entire day, we feel tired and hungry.

下一句也可以，請修正一下。

(2)We have waited for the entired day, feel tired and hungry.

10. 這個小嬰兒剛吃飽，所以看起來很滿足。

Just ate, the baby looks content.

二、答案：

1. wearing

解析：(1)這是分詞片語，用來形容前面一句

(2)分詞片語必須和前面一句有共同的主詞

2. trying

解析：這個文法同第一題。

3. Having lived

解析：(1)這也是分詞片語。

(2)但是，他「住了兩年」是完成式(have+p.p.)

(3)所以把have改為having，即可。

4.(1)Not knowing

解析：分詞片語否定時，不可用助動詞，而直接用not+Ving

(2)what I am doing

解析：這不是真的問句，而是間接問句，所以把am I 還原成I am.

5. Not being able to sing

解析：(1)否定的分詞片語用not+動詞ing

(2)"can"的動詞是be able to

(3)所以是not being able to

(4)這裡也可以直接用否定句：Be unable to,

然後改成分詞片語：Being unable to sing.

6. Being unable to

解析：文法同上一題。

7. (1)這一題和前面幾題不同，所以不能使用分詞片語。

(2)前半部的主詞是"he"，後半部的主詞是"his hands"。

(3)所以，應該改為普通句，而且是現在完成

式：After he has had three cups of coffee.

8. (1)這一題的文法同上一題，不能直接改為分詞片語。

(2)正確答案是Seeing me break another glass, he is not happy.

9. 以下兩種寫法皆可

(1)Having waited

(2)feeling

10. Having just eaten

解析：(1)「已吃飽」是現在完成式

(2)把have改為having

(3)just放中間
