Tamkang University Will Celebrate her 5lst Anniversary Today

A ceremony celebrating the 5lst founding of Tamkang University will be held today (November 8) at 9:00 A.M. at the Student Activity Center, Tamsui Campus.

Tamkang University Announces the List of Ten Golden Eagle Award Recipients

The best recognition one can think of being a Tamkang alumnus is to be nominated as the candidate of the Golden Eagle award and finally to win it. This year, the l5th annual Golden Eagle ceremony was held at the same day when T.K.U. was celebrating her 5lst anniversary. Ten awards will be hand-delivered by Dr. Clement C.P. Chang, Founder of T.K.U., to the winners. They are what we call, “le creme de la creme” of the Tamkang fellows. Everyone is brilliant in terms of his/her career accomplishment and Tamkang is proud of having played a vital part in his/her formative years.

Warsaw University and Tamkang University Have Signed a Friendly Pact on the 5lst T.K.U. Anniversary

A cooperation pact will be signed between Warsaw University and Tamkang University at l0:30 A.M. today (November 8) in the International Conference Room, Ching Sheng Memorial Hall, in which both schools will honor the agreement of exchanging faculty, students as well as sharing library resources, etc.

An erection of the main beam ceremony for Shao Mo Memorial Swimming Gymnasium will be held at 5:00 P.M. today (November 8). During the ceremony, Dr. Clement C.P. Chang. Founder of T.K.U., will give a short address, and Mrs. Carrie W.T. Chang, Chairperson, T.K.U. Board of Trustees, will pick up the bow on top of the beam, symbolizing the finishing touch of the rite.
