A conference entitled “Comparative Studies of the High Education in China and Taiwan” hosted by the Center for Center for Higher Education Research and Evalution is held in Chueh Sheng International Conference Hall on Thursday, October 28. The opening ceremony at 9 a.m. will be both presided over by Dr. Flora Chang, TKU’s President and Dr. Clement Chang, the founder of TKU. Chen Po-chang, the Dean of the College of Education will chair the keynote speech given by Pan Mao-yuan , a professor from Xiamen University on “ The Obstacles in the Development of Private-run Higher Educational Institutes in China”. It is followed by three presentations, which will be chaired by Huang Jong-tsun, a professor of TUK, Huang Guo-yen, professor from the Chaoyang University of Technology and Yang Guo-ci, the President of the National Chiayi University respectively.
