The TKU tennis team was invited to join the first “Adidas Cup Campus Tennis Invitational Games”. With dazzling performances, the TKU team defeated many competitors including the host team of National Taiwan University and won the championship.

On the first day, our school defeated both Chiao Tung University and Chinese Culture University; on the second day, we won the division champion by eliminating SHU; and then went on defeating the runner-up of Division A, Tsing Hua University. Finally, we routed Taiwan University with an overwhelming victory and then embraced the championship.

The games were won by five orders of play. I feel very excited to have competed with the best tennis player in Taiwan. His fast ball has aroused my fighting spirit and made me want to improve my skill.”

“I’m very satisfied with the students’ performance, ” indicated TKU tennis coach, Hung Chien-chih, “It wasn't an easy thing to defeat NTU and get the championship.” Hung Chien-chih welcomes any student who is interested in playing tennis with some basic skill to join the TKU tennis team.
