The Graduate Institute of Latin American Studies is going to hold “The Ninth Academic International Symposium on Latin America in the Republic of China in Taiwan” at Ching-sheng International Conference Hall on November 7th and 8th. The subject of the conference this year is “Changes in the International Situation and Latin America: Globalization and Regionalism.”
Dr. Flora C. I. Chang, President of Tamkang University, will be the honorary chairperson of the conference and deliver an opening speech. 19 scholars in the field of Latin America Studies from both domestic and foreign countries will present their papers. The agenda are divided into three sections: Section of Culture and Education is hosted by Dr. Wang Hsiu-chi; Section of Economy and Commerce by Dr. Chen Yea-hong; Section of Politics and Society by Dr. Juan Hung Hui.
