SEMINAR ON E-CAMPUS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER

Seminar on “E-Campus,” sponsored by Ministry of Education, hosted by Tamkang University, will be held in Chueh Sheng International Conference Hall on December 23rd. At the seminar, campus e-systems developed by the seventeen colleges and universities in northern Taiwan will be demonstrated; and how to promote e-campus and establish a community service center will be discussed.

Recently, the Ministry of Education invited successful models of e-campus to hold demonstration seminars in northern, middle, and southern parts of Taiwan respectively. With recognized achievement as a successful e-campus, TKU will serve as the convener of northern meeting in collaboration with National Taiwan University and Wan Nung Institute of Technology.

The opening ceremony will be hosted by both Dr. Chang Horng-jinh, president of TKU, and Mr. Chen Jing-jang, director of computer center at MOE. Huang Ming-dar, director of TKU’s Information Processing Center, will present a speech.

Presidents of these universities and colleges, directors of the e-systems, and technicians and staff will be invited to participate in the panel discussion, system demonstration, experience sharing, and discussion on various related issues.

E-systems for general affairs, academic affairs, student affairs, accounting, documents, and personnel developed by the seventeen universities and colleges, including National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University, National Central University, Chung Yuan Christian University, and Wan Nung Institute of Technology, will be showcased in TKU’s Main Engineering Building.
