The Departments of Business Administration and International Trade, on the other hand, seek those who can lecture in English, whereas the Department of Physics will give priority to Ph.Ds whose research interests complement those of the Department’s. Finally, the Department of Architecture requires its applicants to have experience in designing, and those whose design has won prizes or participated in well-established exhibitions will be given preferential consideration. All applicants need to provide 3 letters of reference, and copies of 2 to 3 publications

All colleges except Office of Physical Education seek faculty members to fill positions of assistant professorship or above. Those who already have a professor certificate or qualification are preferred. The salary scale is equivalent to that of public universities. Associate professors with a Ph.D will be given an extra NT$ 7,000 allowance per month and are eligible to apply for a research grant after one year.
