SUMMER TRAINING FOR 30 STUDENT CLUBS

The summer vacation is the time for club members to brush up on their skills. There are thirty student clubs holding summer training camps and eight going to the countryside to offer community services. President Flora C. I. Chang will be giving the University flag to the community service teams next Tuesday (June 21).

The eight clubs provide a variety of activities in their community services. The Tamkang Chorus will be performing in the Tamshui Library and the Culture Center of Taipei County. The Chinese Music Club will tour Tainan Municipal Social Education Hall, Jiji Village of Nantou County, and Taipei Municipal Tianmu Elementary School. The Environmental Protection team is holding a summer camp at Tamkang. The Recreational Activity Counseling Group will be working for the Buddhist camp for third to fifth graders held at Sheng-nan Temple in Shuang-si Village, Taipei County. The Group will spend five days with the children, organizing many games and events every day to give the children an enjoyable time.
