CONFERENCE ON NANO AND MICRO-MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ON WEDNESDAY

Co-hosted by the Department of Mechanical and Electro-mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, the International Conference on Nano and Micro-Mechanical and Electrical System will be open on Wednesday (Nov. 23). International scholars coming to present projects and lectures including Osamu Tabata (Kyoto University, Japan), Jan Eijkel (Twente Uni-versity, Holland), Teerachai Pornsin-sirirak (Vice Director of Center of Nano-Technology, Thailand), Hideaki Imura (Kumamoto University, Japan), Hisayuki Aoyama (University of Electro-Communications), and Lee Yi-kuan (Hong Kong Technology University, China).

Conference is divided into five sessions, moderated or lectured by Kang Shan-Wen (Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering), Wang Yi-ren (Chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering), Yang Rong-jey (Director of Center of Apparatus and Experiment), Fong Wey-run (Professor, Chinghua Univiersity), Lee Kuo Pin (National Cheng Kung University), and many Tamkang’s professors, and agendas involve micro-production, bio-chemical technology of micro-flow, nano-technology, micro-cooling technology, micro-robotics, and micro-materials.
