Organized by Graduate Institute of Future Studies, a series of multimedia teaching activities and lectures featuring “City Futures, Best Life” will be held from 1st to 4th May on Lanyang Campus, Cyber Campus and Tamsui Campus.
Lectures on “City Futures” will discuss the social problems under the impact of trends of urbanizing development and high urbanization through the exemplification of some international cases such as the visionary project of “Slow Life City” of Kakegawa, Japan.
Sessions of multimedia teaching are scheduled as follows: 11 a.m., May 1st, CL303 Lanyang Campus; 10 a.m., May 2nd, I501 Cyber Campus and Cheuh-Sheng International Conference Hall Tamsui Campus; 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., May 3rd, Cheuh-Sheng International Conference Hall Tamsui Campus; 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., May 4th, Cheuh-Sheng International Conference Hall Tamsui Campus. Speakers include Professor Chen Kuo-hua, Chen Jui-kuei, Teng Yu-ying, Ji Shun-jie, Lai Chia-ling, Jon D. Solomon, and Deng Jian-bang from Graduate Institute of Future Studies. (~ Han-yu Huang )
