The Office of Alumni Services and Resources Development of TKU held a presentation the other day, explaining to and recruiting alumni who are interested in working in Vietnam. On May 13, there will be a second presentation, so those who missed the first one, should not miss this one again.
Vietnam has become a new darling for the investment coming from Taiwan’s business people in recent years, perhaps out of the need of seeking an alternative to Mainland China. As a result, Taiwanese entrepreneurs have been setting up factories and business centers in Vietnam where they keenly need some Taiwanese workforce. This time, there are 16 positions open, offered by six different businesses, who seek graduates with good foreign language (English, Japanese) and computer skills. They also offer attractive labor package that promises a starting salary of a minimum of NT$ 30,000 (including the probation period) and paid airfare and one week holiday back to Taiwan at a 2 to 3 month interval.
