An official of the Government Information Office, Tao Zhi-wei, accompanied four journalists from Latin and South America to visit TKU last Wednesday, Sept. 13. They joint the class, “The current affairs of Latin America” of the Graduate Institute of Latin American Studies given by Professor Chen Yea-hong for a round table discussion with the students. These journalists cover economic and international news: Maria Oliva, the chief editor for economic and international news of the El Cronista of Argentina; Edgar Balsells, a columnist for the El Periodico of Guatemala; Jose Luis Henriquez, the chief editor for the business section of the El Diariode Hoy of Elsalvador; and finally, Hector JesusGarcia the director of The Contacto Internacional from Venezuela.
