EXHIBITION ON THE CITY DESIGN OF SHIN-YI DISTRICT

“A 25-Year Retrospect on the City Designs of Shin-yi District,” an architectural design exhibition hosted by the ROC Association of Urban Design, will be held in the front yard of the Engineering Building from October 27. Dr. Huang Jui-mao, assistant professor of Dept. of Architecture, and a member of the ROC Association of Urban Design, who assisted in the exhibition, remarks that through a long history of planning and designing, Shin-yi district has transformed from a desolation into a new community with modern residential and business areas with artistic elements. It has been the most completed and successful new community model in Taiwan. It is expected that people can have more understanding about Shin-Yi district through this exhibition. (~ Peiling Hsia )
