Department of Educational Technology invited Mr. Gary D. Westergren, the manager of research and development laboratory of University of Missouri, and his assistant Mr. Neeley Current to give a lecture of operation introduction on “interface-testing tool to test software Morae” last Monday (May 21st).
Department Chair Lee Shih-chung said that the software can record a number of times that users select the website and link route, which enable website administrators to understand checking rate on each links.
Mr. Gary D. Westergren also utilizes this software to test school library website in order to find out any insufficiency for a better improvement.
For having further exchange with University of Missouri, Department of Educational Technology plans to invite John Wedman, chair of College of Information and Learning Technology of University of Missouri, for short-term lectures in TKU in November, and a sister’s laboratory may be established with U.S.A. University of Missouri too in the future, carrying on international researches. ( ~Johnny Chu )
