Dr. Dennis, the Vice President of Suffolk University in Boston arrived at TKU on October 15 for a friendly visit. A reception to welcome him was set up at the office of Dr. Tai Wan-chin, the Vice President for International Affairs, in Rm. FL502. TKU President, Dr. Flora Chang, and Dr. Chen Hwei -mei, the Director of the Office of International Exchanges and International Education were also present.
After his visit in Tamsui Campus, he was led to Lanyang Campus for a presentation and a talk with the students there. He praised the mandatory Third Year Study Abroad Program at Lanyang and encouraged students there to study at his university. At present, there are three TKU students studying at Suffolk (two from Lanyang, one from Tamsui). ( ~Ying-hsueh Hu )
