COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES DISCUSSED ON THE 17TH NATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA

College of International Studies held Tamkang Forum last Wednesday (Nov. 7) at T504. The topic is “Cross-strait and World Development and The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.” The conference were co-hosted by Dr. Tai Wan Chin, Dean of College of International Studies, and Dr. Guo Jiann-jong, Chair of Graduate Institute of Mainland China Studies.

Participating scholars include Professor Chao Chun-shan, Associate Professor Chang Wu-ueh (both from Graduate Institute of Mainland China Studies, TKU), Professor Wang Kun-yih, Chair of Graduate Institute International Affairs and Strategic Studies, Professor Hung Lu-hsun and Associate Professor Mo Ta-hua (both from Graduate Institute of Political Science, Political Campaign College of National Defense University), Associate Professor Wu Han of Kun Shan University, and Dr. Yang Chih-heng, researcher of National Security Agency.

The Forum discussion focuses on the international issues after The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party, such as latest government personnel shifting, future political and national politics. (~ Shelley Tang )
