A culture tour organized by the Overseas Chinese Student Guidance Section was held last Saturday 24/Dec that took over 38 overseas Chinese students (OCS) to go around some cultural and scenic hot spots in the Northeast tip of Taiwan. These places included Juming Museum, Taipower’s Second Nuclear Power Plant, and Fu-Kuei Chiao Lighthouse.
Such a trip is held every year around this time and is hugely popular among OCS. As Chen Hai-chui, a senior from the Department of Information Management, pointed out, it provides an exceptional opportunity to get to know Taiwan and other fellow OCS. ( ~Ying-hsueh Hu )
