Lanyang Campus has set a 52” TV screen in the Dinning Hall on the 2nd floor of the Teaching Area and another 42” TV screen on the outer wall of the library on the 3rd floor, broadcasting programs such as campus news, activity films, CNN Immediate English news by the special cyber channel. Students who have seen them all say, “It’s great!”
The broadcasting schedule of the cyber channel is from 7:50 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday. The 52” LD TV screen in the Dinning Hall satisfies students’ cravings, especially when the channel broadcasts baseball, basketball or other sports competitions and activity films. Students can relaxingly enjoy the shows while having their meals. Global Politics and Economics freshman Jun-ru Yang’s said that the cyber channel provides CNN immediate news and other information that can help students become more competitive. ( ~Dean X. Wang )
