Do you have ideas and suggestions for TKU, but don’t know where to go to express them?

Well here’s your chance. From the 8th to the 22nd, the TKU Student Association will be holding the first ever “Communication Month” event. The organizer, Wang Yu-an, explained the impetus for holding the event, stating that without a forum for communication between school and student, many of the students’ valuable ideas are simply overlooked or ignored. He hopes that Communication Month activities will allow students’ ideas to be heard. “We’re going to provide a voice for the students”.

One of the activities to be held as part of Communication Month is a Question Contest, which will run from Dec. 8 – 17. Entrants may each ask up to 15 questions on any TKU-related topics such as TKU history, notable characters, news and events, and TKU legends and myths etc. To register for the contest, please visit the website http://www.wretch.cc/blog/tkusa16th.

From the 13th to the 17th, the TKU Student Association will set up a stall on the 3rd floor of the College of Business and Management building to accept student entries. Between the 20th and the 23rd, students may vote for their favorite questions. Winners of the competition will receive major prizes, such as an i-pod.

There will also be various other activities held, including lectures by a number of successful members of society. During Communication Month, students’ suggestions will be handed to the TKU Extracurricular Section for review and possible incorporation.
