The TKU Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center is currently holding a Digital e-Calligraphy Pen Art Exhibition. Extending until October 4, the exhibition will officially “kick off” at 10:30 am on 26th September in an opening ceremony event scheduled to be held at the Fine Arts Center. The exhibition has been organized by Dr. Chang Bin-huang, the Director of the Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center; two TKU resident artists, Li Chi-Mao and Koo Chung-Kuang; Dr. Tsai You, a professor from the Department of Painting and Calligraphy Arts, National Taiwan University of Arts; as well as numerous other renowned painters from around Taiwan.
During the exhibit, the artists’ works will be presented on computer displays that show how the works were created using the e-Calligraphy Pen, stroke by stroke.
The e-calligraphy pen system has now released the 3rd generation “e-Calligraphy Super Pen”. The updated model incorporates a new transparent painting feature and a broader range of special features, such as the option to “smudge” or “stack” parts of the painting. The system is ideal for classroom instruction, briefings, creating images, and recording sounds. For its sophisticated capabilities and wide range of uses, it has received the highest appraisal from both local and overseas experts.
