Prof. Hung Wu Heum, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Kyungnam University, Korea, was invited by Department of Chinese to conduct three lectures in TKU, who arrived in Taiwan on Feb. 23, 2003.
Prof. Hung who has a good command of both Chinese and Korean classical literature is a renowned scholar in the world. He was former President of Eastern Asian Humanities Association and was a visiting professor in Guangzhou Normal University. His first round of lecture entitled “the comment of the bold and uninhibited style of Su Shih’s literature” was held at L205 classroom from 15:00 to 17:00 pm on Feb. 24, 2003. The second lecture on “ the general situation of the influence of Chinese literature to the Korean literacy world in various dynasties” will be held at B713 classroom from 10:00 to 12:00 am on Feb. 26. The third on “the general acceptance of Korean literary world to Su Shih’s literature” will be held at L408 classroom from 16:00 to 18:00 pm on Feb. 27, 2003.
Prof. Hung will stay in Taiwan for ten days.
