Aerospace Week Blasts Off at Tamkang

The 36th TKU Aerospace Week commenced on April 8 at the new Engineering Building, Tamsui Campus. The primary activity in Aerospace Week is an exhibition that comprises an aerospace model exhibition, flight simulation, sections showcasing aerospace knowledge, and an unmanned aircraft vehicle (VAV) lab.

Huang Wei Feng, the Master’s student who helped organize this year’s activities, explained that the “interactive flight simulator” contains 160 model planes and 8 VAVs that students from the Department of Aerospace Engineering have been working on since 1993. “Our goal is to promote aerospace knowledge on a broader scale”.
