【Reported by Ya-ting Li, Tamkang Times】Dean of the College of Foreign Language and Literature and Professor of the Department of French Language, Hsi-deh Wu, has been appointed the Chairman of L'Association taiwanaise des traducteurs de français (Association of Taiwanese French Translation) this month. Hsi-deh Wu expressed, “This association is the nation’s number one organization for Taiwanese French translation and is actively involved in exchange programs with France. I believe this could lead to a great amount of opportunities to work together with France on various exchange programs. I expect that we can create an even broader international platform for students to benefit from.” Hsi-deh Wu expressed the importance of the responsibilities of his new appointed position and that in the future he will actively be involved in utilizing the connections of the organization to help with the education of students in the Department of French Language.
