Six TKU students Win Award for Robotics Innovation

【Tamkang Times】The Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering participated in the “2014 Smart Robotics Innovation Competition” and received 5th place for an outstanding performance. Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Yin-tien Wang, lead the TKU Delta Robot team of five members. Second year student, Yu-ting Lin, stated, “This was the first time working with this team and in the process of designing we got to learn a lot about programming and designing products. I’m very grateful to the Dean of the College of Engineering, Chii-dong Ho, for his funding support with this project. I hope that in the next competition we can do even better.”
