【Yan-jun Lin, Tamsui Campus Report】On May 23rd the Department of Electrical Engineering held the First 40th-Year Student Association Alumni Reunion under the rally of Alumni Ping-neng Chen. The Electrical Engineering Alumni Association has already donated a total of 1,000,000 NT toward the construction of the Shou Chien International Conference Center and Qing-fen Li, Ping-neng Chen and President Flora Chia-I Chang held a special ceremony to honor the generous contribution. For the past 40 years, the members of the Department of Electrical Engineering have spread into different places in the world, gaining experience and stories that they were able to share as they gathered together. The atmosphere was filled with warm feelings and positive energy. Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiunn-jang Chern, expressed, “I’m also an alumni of this department and a donation of this size really will make a significant impact toward development.”
