【Yu-xiang Sun, Tamsui Campus Report】Last month on Oct. 28th the Office of Academic Affairs held the 2015-16 first semester University Affairs meeting in Chueh-sheng International Conference Hall. Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, Tung-wen Cheng, hosted the event and Lanyang Campus attended via video conference. For this year’s meeting, the objective was to focus on the need for more academic-industry projects and 9 new internship proposals were discussed.
In addition Tamkang University will sign a contract with Vel Tech in India to establish a sister school relationship and will create a dual major exchange program through the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering. Other issues discussed include methods to begin study in dual major programs, guidance and counseling homework assistance, student club curriculum and regulations and 60 other such cases.
