【Yu-xuan Zhou, Tamsui Campus Report】Beginning after Dec.7, Tamkang University will begin the 2015-16 Annual Academic Evaluation, being assessed by the Ministry of Education as they exam the College of International Studies and the College of Foreign Languages and Literature on the 7th and 8th; the Colleges of Science, Liberal Arts and Education on the 10th and 11th; and on the 17th, the Center for General Education and Core Curriculum. The university evaluation will consist of Educational Objectives, Core Curriculum Effectiveness and Design, Academic Teaching and Learning, Student Counseling and Study Resources, Academic and Professional Service Performance, Graduating Student Performance, Self Evaluation and Modification and Development. Research Assistant of the Office of Quality Assurance and Audit, Farrah Pei-chen Chang, expressed, “The assessment will raise our level of educational effectiveness and will prove helpful for the future of the students.”
