A series of lectures sponsored by Electrical Engineering Department, TKU, will be held between today (March 11) and Thursday (March 14) at the International Conference Room, Ching-sheng Memorial Hall. The lectures will begin at 1:30 P.M. and altogether 9 sessions are scheduled.
The topic will be “Signal Processing”.
Computer experts from Japan, Singapore and the Netherlands have been invited to share their expertise and working experience with their counterparts in Taiwan. They are also scheduled to hold vis-a-vis dialogue with Engineering major students at TKU.
According to Department of Electrical Engineering, almost all the guest speakers are world- renowned scholars on Computer Science. For instance, Dr. Lee Ching-hui, Visiting Professor from School of Computing, National Singapore University; Dr. Keichi Tokuda, Professor from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan and Dr. Ton Kalker, Philips Research, the Netherlands. And incidentally, both Dr. Lee Ching-hui and Dr. Ton Kalker are honorary members of International Electrical Engineering/Electronics Association, USA. On their lectures, they will talk about “Voice User Interface Technology and Their Applications” and “Applications and System Aspects of Digital Watermarking.”
