“I feel that speaking Mandarin is like singing a song.” This was how one Japanese class leader told Tamkang e-Times as the opening ceremony was being held in the Conference Room of Ching Sheng Memorial Hall on September l4.
The exchange program between Tamkang University and Reitaka University has been going on for l9 years without fail. This time, it is the 33rd time they are sending over l6 students overseas to study at Tamkang University. Although each time they can only stay for only half a year, as Dr. Feng Chao-kang, V.P. for Academic Affairs, elaborated on the subject, their ability of catching up the Chinese language is amazing, and he certainly extended his good-will to the young visiting scholars, hoping they will avail themselves of every opportunity of learning Mandarin well.
