Visit from UML for Active Discussions on Dual-Degree Programs
From our sister school, the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML), President Julie Chen, along with Vice President John Feudo, Distinguished Professor from the Francis College of Engineering, Dr. Ramaswamy Nagarajan, and the Office of Research and Innovation's Technical Project Manager, Dr. Claire Lepont, visited our campus on September 27th. They toured the campus, engaged in discussions, and explored diverse collaboration opportunities. The President of the Tamkang University Alumni Association Headquarters and Honorary Doctorate of UML, Dr. Lawrence Lin, attended the visit as a special guest.

Visit from Yokohama High School in Japan for Overseas Learning & Exchanges
Our alliance high school in Japan, Yokohama High School's Principal, Kurazo Kevin KATSURA, Secretary Hiroko MORIKUBO, Enrollment Commissioner Masakazu Matt SATO, and PR Secretary Keiko MAKINO, accompanied by the Domestic Officer of Taiwan Education Center in Japan, Sheng-Fen Hsu, visited our school on October 3. During their visit, they toured our campus and teaching facilities, met with Haruka Yokoyama, an alumna of Yokohama High school, currently studying in the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations at our school, and explored potential collaboration opportunities.

Reenacting the Lanyang Freshman Opening Ceremony - Toast at the High Table Dinner in Tamsui
After several years of suspension due to the pandemic, the “High Table Dinner" of the Center for Holistic Education made a comeback as the departments and offices on Lanyang campus returned to the Tamsui campus. The event took place at 5:45 PM on October 4th in the Student Activity Center. The attendees included several senior supervisors such as Vice President for Academic Affairs Hui-Huang Hsu, Vice President for Administrative Affairs Chun-Hung Lin, and Vice President of International Affairs Hsiao-Chuan Chen. Additionally, it was attended by the Executive Secretary of the Center for Holistic Education and Dean of the College of International Studies, Dr. Cheng-Hao Bao, Director of International Affairs Chien-Mu Yeh, Dean of Student Affairs Shih-Jung Wu, chairs of the departments of International Tourism Management, Global Politics and Economics, Computer Science and Information Engineering, and English, and 23 full-time faculty members, making a total of nearly 320 students and teachers present at the event.
