【Reported by Zi-cheng Wang, Tamsui Campus】The 2015 National Junior College Flag Sports Ceremony took place on April 23rd in the Shao-mo Memorial Gymnasium. President Flora Chia-I Chang and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Huan-chao Keh, made a personal appearance to encourage the participants.

【Reported by Jia-lin He, Tamsui Campus】Tamkang University’s Chemistry Mobile made an appearance at An kang High School for a press conference held in cooperation with DaAi TV on April 23rd. The event included around 80 people and was hosted by Dean of the College of Science Bo-chang Wang, Supervisor of DaAi TV, Jian-ming Tang, and Editor of Yuan-Liou Publishing Co.,Ltd, Jung-pei Pang.

TKU Makes Agreement for Academic Industry Boat Design Program

【Reported by Huan Zhuang, Tamsui Campus】In order to increase research at the university, Supervisor of the Industry-Academy Cooperation Section, Chien-yu Wang, Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Shung-wen Kang, Professor of the Department of Chemistry, Kuo-jen Hwang and Professor of the Department of Physics, I-nan Lin, headed to Ship and Oceans Industries R&D Center for an academic visit. The discussion revolved around aspirations of the Ship and Oceans Industries R&D Center cooperating with Tamkang for an academic-industry internship in the near future.

【Reported by Yi-mei Chen, Jin-yu Cai Tamsui Campus】“Let’s Talk About Tamsui” has finally been published! It’s currently available at the Ching-sheng Library and many large online stores in Chinese/English, Chinese/Spanish, Chinese/French, Chinese/German and Chinese/Japanese. The book acts as a travel guide that introduces 15 famous locations of the Tamsui region. Associate Professor of the Department of English, Chi-szu Chen, was invited for the reading of the new publication, showcasing the great language learning capability that the book entails.
