To further invigorate the teaching environment, Instructional Technology Section, Office of Academic Affairs, added 15 new multi-media classrooms, adding up to a total number of 150. In addition, language-learning facilities in Taipei campus and Tamsui campus are upgraded with new International WE-LL300 Language Facility System.
Presently, TKU contains more than 200 classrooms. To help TKU teachers increase the educational efficiency with modern technology, Instructional Technology Section has re-installed 40 multi-media classrooms in last summer vacation, and added 15 more in the winter vacation. Every new multi-media classroom is installed with a totally 200,000 NT dollars worth equipment, including projector, DVD player, Video player, and amplifiers.
The language labs D401-2 in Taipei campus, and L101 in Tamsui campus are upgraded with International WE-LL300 Language Facility System, which contains the functions of listening, bi-lingual teaching, group demonstration, group practice, listening ability test and analysis, and teaching material editing. This system meets the requirement for the General English Proficiency Test. The other language labs will be upgraded in the near future. TKU students are encouraged to make good use of the new facilities. (~Chi-szu Chen)
