OPEN-AIR BARBER SHOP SHINES IN CHARITY FAIR

The spring charity event that involved four universities in Northern Taiwan and organized by TKU’s Business Management Association ended satisfactory last week. As the weather was very pleasant during that time, volunteers and participating businesses managed to raise handsome fund by selling their products for charitable causes at the a charity fair on campus. Three of the businesses, all hair saloons, turned in the best result as they attracted hoards of customers for the price of NT$ 100 per cut.

Their customers ranged from students to faculty to staff who took the opportunity not only to have a new hairstyle but also enjoy some fresh air and sunshine outdoors. They were delighted at the standard of service and the chance of doing something for a good cause. (Ying-hsueh Hu)
