Tamkang University invites Professor Alfred Ebenbauer, former President of Vienna University, for a visit today (May 24). President Chang Horng-jing will lunch with the guest. Prof. Ebenbauer will give a speech this week in the Department of German and another one in the Graduate Institute of European Studies. He will also attend Prof. Thomas’s Tamkang lecture at the Department of German this week, hold a discussion with Prof. Thomas after the lecture, and talk on “Intercultural Communication”. Prof. Ebenbauer’s two lectures are: “Austropatriotism” (presented in English), 10: 10 am, Monday, May 24, in Room T701, and “German in Germany and German in Austria: Examples and Reflections” (presented in German), 10:10 am, Thursday, May 27, in Ching-sheng International Conference Hall.
