A team from one of our Japanese sister universities, Nagasaki University, including Dr. Tominaga Yoshinori (Deputy Dean), Dr. Ide Yoshinori (former Dean) and Dr. Ching-ji Lian, Professor of Environmental Studies, visited TKU last Thursday and joined in Chinese Department’s “Symposium on Culture and Environment.”
The activity of the visit began with getting a briefing and forum, hosted by Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Wan-chin Tai. The participants included Dr. Hwei-mei Chen, Director of International Exchanges and International Education; Dr. Bai-chang Wang, Chair of Department of Chemistry, and Dr. Wakaki Taichi, contracted Visiting Professor of Japanese Department. Dr. Ching-ji Lian, an alumnus of Chinese Department, expressed that he hopes to invite Vice President Tai to visit Nagasaki University to further discuss about dual degree programs. (~ Karen Chang )
