Students of Department of Insurance joined the fourth Northern Area Insurance Cup, won both basketball and volleyball champions in Women’s team and a second place in volleyball men’s team. It helped them to warm up for the National Collegiate Insurance Cup to be held in the next semester.

There were six universities joining the competition, including National Chengchi University and Ming Chuan University. The competition was very intense. As to the women’s volleyball game, it’s the second time for us to race against Ming Chuan University for championship. At first, the difference was large. Nevertheless, with the passions and passionate cheers from junior schoolmates, we won the championship finally. Hsu Yu-Chen, leader of women’s volleyball team, happily indicates, “No pain, no gain. Our team members are excellent in the game!”

However, as to women’s basketball team, the process of game was tough because they had to challenge the three-time winner, Ming Chuan University. The women’s basketball team leader, Wu Hsin-Pei, expressed that there were many people wounded in the process of game, but everyone still held an never-give-up attitude, united together to defeat Ming Chuan University, and won the championship. She excitedly indicated that “the award gave us great confidence to greet the National Collegiate Insurance Cup.”

Li Shao-Jung expressed his regret for winning only the second place in men’s volleyball game. He hoped the team members make efforts to get the championship of National Collegiate Insurance Cup next year. (~ Shelley Tang )
