The director of International Exchanges and International Education Pei-wha Lee went to the 2009 APAIE Education Fair at Remin University of China. She said that she brought back the Academic Exchange Agreement with Shandong University, and predictably Shandong University would be the 22nd Mainland university to sign exchange agreement with TKU, and the 4th one to exchange students. Thus in 2010 TKU will have more than 20 exchange students to study at Fudan, Jilin, Xiamen and Shandong Universities.
More than 550 representatives from 270 universities and research institutes in 34 countries came to the 2009 APAIE Education Fair. Pei-wha Lee said that the main purpose for attending the Fair was searching for opportunities for exchanges and cooperation with other universities and institutes. 29 universities from Taiwan such as Taiwan University and TKU participated and promoted the overall international reputation of universities in Taiwan.
