THE INTERNATIONAL INTERCHANGE EXHIBITION OF CALLIGRAPHY HELD AT TKU: AUG. 6 TO 28

The International Interchange Exhibition of Calligraphy was displayed at the Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center from August 6, 2003 to August 28, 2003. There were totally one hundred and twenty pieces by well-known calligraphers from different countries.

Sponsored by Tamkang University and the Calligraphic Association of the Republic of China, this exhibition was held as one of the yearly activities of calligraphy teaching and research held every summer vacation. The works of calligraphy were mainly from Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, America, and Canada. The exhibition was open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

As the same time, the Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center also held the Seminar of Teaching Calligraphy, from August 7, 2003 to August 11, 2003. This activity was assisted by the Calligraphic Association of the Republic of China and directed by the Department of Social Education, Ministry of Education. This year there were seventy members joining in the seminar.
