ALUMNI HOMECOMING DAY: APPOINTMENT FOR FUTURE GATHERING
“TKU Alumni Homecoming Day,” organized by Office of Alumni Service and Resources Development, was held on November 3, at Student Activity Center. In addition to various delicacies, the Alumni Chorus performed many popular Chinese and Taiwanese songs to heighten the atmosphere, such as “The Night Scent,” “Unforgettable Love,” “Wandering to Tamsui.” Sye Wen-fa, Director of the Office, remarked happily that the reunion activities aim to call back alumni’s heart. Duan Hsiang-shu, President of World TKU Alumni Association, indicated that last year the international alumni reunion was held at South California, and the 2008 reunion will take place at Shanghai.
VICE-PRESIDENT LU HSIU-LIEN ATTENDED THE 57TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF TKU
The 57th anniversary celebration of TKU held with solemnity at 9 AM on Nov. 3 at Shao-mo Memorial Gymnasium, hosted by Dr. Flora C.I. Chang, President of TKU. Many alumni from both Taiwan and abroad, including Dr. Clement C.P. Chang, Founder of TKU, and Duan Hsiang-shu, President of World TKU Alumni Association, came back to school to participate in this big event. Lu Hsiu-lien, Vice-President of R.O.C., also attended the ceremony to celebrate the birthday of TKU. She bestowed TKU Golden Eagle Award to 4 outstanding alumni who have great contribution to the society. They are Mo Lou-fu, President of the Driftwood Artist Society; Liao Ming-shang, President of Hung-yuan Stone; Chung Hsin-yung, President of Agi Corporation; and Lin Bao-shui, President of Eva Air.

“Digital Usability Testing Lab,” co-hosted by Dept. of Educational Technology, TKU and School of Information Science & Learning Technologies, University of Missouri-Columbia, was inaugurated at L111 last Thursday (8th). President C. I. Chang, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chen Kan-nan, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Kao Po-yuan, Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Tai Wan-chin and the Chair of Dept. the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies of MU, Dr. John F. Wedman and his wife took parts in the inauguration.
