The by-election for the Student Senators will be held on the next Wednesday and Thursday. The candidates will run for the 34 seats remains in the Student Council. Those who want to join the election can go to the office of Student Council (X017) to fill the form. Registration will end on Friday noon.

The reason for holding the by-election now is because there are only 26 student senators in the Student Council, still shorter than the 30 seats required for a quorum. The 34 seats remains in the Student Council belong to the following colleges: five seats for the College of Business; 8 seats for the College of Management; 7 seats for the College of Engineering; 3 for the College of Chemistry; 5 for the College of Foreign Languages and Literatures; 4 seats for the College of Liberal Arts, 1 for the College of Technology and 1 for the College of International Studies.
