2025 WIN Contemporary Accounting Paper Award Symposium — Duke University’s Prof. Schipper Delivers Keynote, Inspiring New Perspectives
The “2025 Win Semiconductor Contemporary Accounting Paper Award” Symposium, co-organized by the Tamkang Accounting Education Foundation (Taipei) and the Department of Accounting of Tamkang University, was held on October 18 at Tamkang University’s Taipei Campus. The symposium featured 47 academic papers, covering topics such as ESG, auditing, corporate governance, artificial intelligence, tax policy, and financial performance. Attendees included President Huan-Chao Keh, Win Semiconductors Chairman Chin-Tsai Chen, Director and General Manager of Corporate Business and Operations Shun-Ping Chen, Dean Li-Ren Yang of the College of Business and Management, Foundation CEO Chen-Feng Huang, Contemporary Accounting journal publisher Hsin-Hui Yen, and the editorial team, along with experts, professors, and students from across Taiwan.

President Keh Attends the 125th Anniversary Celebration of Tamkang’s Japanese Sister School, Tsuda University
Tsuda University, Tamkang University’s Japanese sister school, celebrated its 125th founding anniversary on October 12. Tamkang University was honored as the only overseas sister university invited to the celebration. TKU President Huan-Chao Keh, accompanied by Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Chuan Chen and Department of Japanese Chair Pei-Ching Tsai, attended the festivities, which included a memorial ceremony for founder Umeko Tsuda, the 125th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony, and the 15th Umeko Tsuda Award Presentation in the morning, followed by an afternoon commemorative lecture and a welcome reception. During the reception, President Keh presented a commemorative gift, which was accepted on behalf of Tsuda University by Chairperson Seiichi Shimada of the Board of Directors.
