THE 10TH TKU PRESIDENT, DR. C. I. CHANG, CONTINUE TO LEAD TKU TOWARD ANOTHER CURVE
The term of Dr. C. I. Chang’s 9th TKU presidency ended on July 31, 2010. The 10th Board of Trustees elected the 10th TKU President at its 7th meeting, in which Dr. C. I. Chang was unanimously reelected as the 10th TKU president. The board meeting also elected the trustee members of the 11th Board of Trustees. Eight of nine members continue to be the trustees, including Ms. Polly S. Chang, Yea-hong Chen, Charles C. Lin, Hong-shang Hong, Steve Lee, Gregory K. H. Wang, Kun-yen Lee, John C. H. Yang. Mr. Ching-nan Chen was newly elected to the board.

Chang Hsiao-mei and Lin Yi-hui, of Department of Information Management, led by their professor, Dr Liang En-hui, went with students from Chengchi University and Central University as R.O.C representative in the championship of the “2010 Amway Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Universities IT Project Competition,” hosted by Information Management Association of R.O.C., held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. TKU students won the Golden Medal and the Prize of Best Response with their work, “Animal Kingdom: Touch Information System for Children,” beating 51 teams from China, Macau, and Hong Kong.
